Good Practice Workshop: "Targeted data management for evidence-based evaluation in RD"
Dear colleagues,
What types of data and data management systems are required for evidence-based evaluation in the context of Rural Development Programmes?
What are the bottlenecks in providing sound data for the assessment of impacts?
What are evidence-based evaluations?
To discuss these and other related questions, we brought 70 data users and data providers from 20 Member States and the European Commission together in a workshop hosted by the Managing Authority of the Hungarian RDP in Budapest on 8 and 9 October, 2012. At the workshop, we:
- discussed the new regulatory requirements on evaluation and data management 2014-2020,
- listened to case studies from Hungary, Slovenia, France and Emilia Romagna;
- developed an indicative roadmap and recommendations for more evidence-based data management and evaluation.
Please find attached the Newsletter that summarizes this workshop and have a look at the presentations of this and other Good Practice Workshops on our webpage enrd.ec.europa.eu/evaluation/good-practices-workshops/learning-from-practice/en/learning-from-practice_en.cfm.
Kind regards,
The Evaluation Helpdesk Team
